It's free! Like love in the sixties!
For Google.com who has not changed it site in almost 10 years the idea is a image on the right hand side that will allow users to glance at the site. Unlike current google where you need to read our product could nice for younger viewers.
The internet is filled with pictures but the most used site on the internet has only got it's logo at the top!
My idea is have thumb nails images of the websites next to your search results on google.
Example size of images.
http://www.hypertemplates.com/
This feature can be turned on or off with a check box next to the seach button.
AND also have a button next to image if you never want the URL to appear in your search results again.
How does this make money? Well sell it to google! or something?
I got this idea when I was searching for something on google and thought this site is boring.. it's just text!
http://www.girafa.co...ratio=5&spons=1
That's the right idea, but having it in English would be nice.
and lots of times nothing comes up in the search.
its better to chew odd sites
steam engine do lot more as search engine
a hole to put whole................
guitar and google are the links to the heart's...............
cricket googly to roll your bell's#google way
My mantra on this site is becoming, "Who cares if it's been done?"
Nobody is entitled to a free monopoly. Maybe it can be done better, cheaper, with a different business model, etc.
Great idea and while I liked girafa, it's clearly not the only way in the world to handle this idea.
You could tile the images and show a whole lot of them, & perhaps, for a fast search, return just the web page images and titles rather than devoting a lot of the results screen to text. The user could ask for more detail if that didn't meet their needs right away.
