The Idea
Why not have a bag for a bag. I carry around a laptop with what amounts to most of the intellectual property that I generate. That equates to a lot of money, time and effort. In the Pacific Northwest it has been known to rain a fair amount - so why not protect the bag (could also be used in dusty climates). Why not get a bag to cover the bag - made out of Cordura or even Gore-Tex.

Had the idea for quite a while. Initial inspriration was a Corduar sleeping bag holder I used while hiking the West Coast Trail - it was amazing, light, water ressitant (proof?) and best of all abrasian resitant.
I have the bagbag.ca domain name just need to get of may backside and make it work.

I have a laptop bag that is made out of gore tex so it protects my stuff from rain... Maybe if I saw a prototype I would change my mind, but for as I see it its nothing special

OK - I get the idea - no one likes it, that's cool.
Perhaps it's the way I explained it (then again maybe not) because the people I have actually talked to about it, get it. So I'll give it another go.
My leather cabin bag contains my laptop, documents etc. and while walking between customers it a pain carrying a small umbrella and trying to keep my bag dry. So, the bagbag would cover the leather bag (would be really lightweight cover) making it waterproof.
I think we get it, it's a waterproof bag! Sorry dude, have to agree with computerjoe on this one
